Who better to develop a tailor made Eging rod, than Yamashita? Leading Japanese company Yamashita in squid fishing offers the two versions of Egido Egi-Oh Squid rod, which are of excellent performance Eging rods.

The EGI-OH Egido, becomes a squid catching weapon in the hands of anglers who seek a quality Eging rod, that combines numerous properties, that only Yamashita could combine. The 83ML and 86M models are a fast rods, but with a soft reaction. They are smooth and flexible, but at the same time powerful. They can both cast squid jigs, at a long distance, with precision.

The Yamashita Egido 83ML was widely accepted by Eging fans worldwide and this feedback was taken into account by Yamashita, which proceeded to produce the newest version, the Egido 86M. No radical changes were made to the Egido 86M, as Yamashita did not want to alter the successful recipe, and contented themselves with cosmetic changes, along with making a slightly stronger model, for squid jigs size 2.5 to 4.0.

Yamashita has strategically distributed Fuji K Guide on the rods blank, to assist in long casts and cause less line stretch, when a large squid is caught.

The Yamashita Egido rod also features an Egi hook keeper, that helps you secure your lures, without damaging the guides, the handle, or the rods blank.

The handle is made of soft EVA material and provides a grip which can be comfortably held and worked for a long time.

Yamashita did not neglect the aesthetics of the Egido EGI-OH Squid Rod and decorated the 83ML model with a natural brown, squid color and the 86M with the Rubin green.
