In 2023, Yamaga Blanks designed and developed the Seawalk Tairubber rod series, to offer a completely new design and concept to Tai Rubber fishing enthusiasts. The Seawalk rod series challenges everything we know about Tai Rubber and offers new possibilities.
There are various fishing methods for the Red Sea Bream, therefore Yamaga Blanks has developed four models that have been carefully selected to match each style and situation, highlighting the individuality of each rod.
The «AT» type that has refined the basic performance of Tai Rubber, as it automatically hooks the fish, just by continuing to retrieve the jig. The «D» type is for fishing in complex structures with intensive currents, such as deep waters over 100m. The «S» type of rods, offer sensitivity and a supple tip, to capture shallow areas and delicately sense small bites, during low fish activity. The «F» type, with refined sensitivity, for quickly hooking bites and increasing the reaction speed. Each rods blank offers a light feeling, like a light game rod and as an extension of the hand.
The Yamaga Blanks Seawalk Tyraba 611D is a special rod model that combines high-load game, in deep-fields, with lightness and good response. What does that mean? The Seawalk Tai Rubber 611D is a situation-specific rod, for fishing in the deeper end of the water column, in depths exceeding 100m, using jigs between 100 and 250 gr. This rod will be used in situations where it is necessary to increase the jigs weight, so it will pass through currents. However Yamaga Blanks has refined the blank, so that it does not lose the lightness and high sensitivity even under the high applied loads. Not only it has a strong butt that can lift fighting prey from deep water, but the long front grip, makes it easy to pump and it can also be used with both hands when using an electric reel.
During tests conducted by Yamaga Blanks, even with a load of 150g, the rod still has a repulsive force, so you can easily reel in the jig, without losing sensitivity, even in deep water. The 611D is not just a hard rod; it is a model of tenacity.
