The VMC® Spinshot® hooks feature an award-winning, built-in swivel system, eliminating line twist, one of the traditional problems with the Drop Shot fishing style. Except line twist, the low hook up ratio, is also worth mentioning, as the hook might be sometimes off center. The VMC Spinshot hook eliminates these problems.
The VMC Spinshot 7119SS is a light, forged from Vanadium steel black hook, that achieves the perfect balance of lightness and resistance, with a swivel structure. The integrated swivel in the hooks eyelet makes all the difference. Tie a simple line knot to the top eyelet and the drop lead to the bottom ring. This way the hook can spin freely 360 and also move on the vertical axis too. It is the same flexibility that will increase the hook up ratio, as the hook does not move to a downwards facing position anymore.
VMC also introduced a technical bent to the hook, which increases resistance and transfers energy towards the point of the hook, holding the fish firmly in place when set.
