Description
The Tict Jack Bright Ester is an ultra-fine, monofilament line, in widths that a few years ago we could not imagine it is possible to fish with. The Tict Jack Bright Ester has unprecedented sensitivity and stretching properties, as low as that of a PE line.
The properties of Ester lines have revolutionized the world of finesse and ultra light fishing. An Ester line has all the good qualities of a monofilament / fluorocarbon line , all the good qualities of braided line without the negative properties of each one.
Jack Bright got its name from the intensively bright, light green color and has become a classic, Ajing product, on which high visibility and suppleness have been added to it. The selected color makes it is easy to see the line in all situations, despite its very thin diameter, as it incorporates a surface treatment that collects light from the sun and reflects it back. This is a Monofilament line to use in Light Rock Fishing in situations where it is necessary to follow the trace of your line, when fishing in narrow points, or want to notice drifts and currents.
The bright color is also usefull in night fishing, as it allows us to see and feel the «action», long before the strike. As the line moves, or shakes, it indicates to us, what will happen next. And this is feasible only if the line is visible.
Plus, Jack Bright does not absorb water and exhibits wear resistance close to that of fluorocarbon. The surface is hard and sturdy, resistant and persistently smooth and round.
The Tict Jack Bright Ester Monofilament exhibits the same performance as a PE line, it has the specific weight of a fluorocarbon and the light weight of the jig head keeps the line stretched at all times. At the same time the line creates such little resistance, that allows the jig head to move and sink freely, is less susceptible to the effects of wind, and has an extremely fine distance that allows it to cast even lighter lures.
Any reaction to your bait, is instantly transmitted from the end of your line, to the tip of your rod.
But there is also another side to this amazing product by Tict. One that demands finesse in handling and experience:
On the packaging there are instructions on how to complete the triple eight tying knot, that Tict suggests to use in case we need to adjust our line in conjuction with leaders, or to use a big stretch of Jack Bright Line as a long leader.
Because the Tict Jack Bright is a very fine line, please allow the drag force to be close to loose, even after a fish is caught. This goes without saying, as Jack Bright is used with the most finesse of equipment.
Since it is a material with very low stretching properties, Tict als recommends using a fluorocarbon, or nylon shock leader to handle sudden tension. Either way, with the correct drag adjustment, we can use the line directly.
Also, when winding No. 0.4 and No. 0.5 on the reel, apply a little tension and wind slowly.
