One tablet is a standard dose and lasts about 5 days. The tablet keeps the waste tank clean and reduces gas formation. It also reduces the odor from the tank, by stimulating the growth of natural odor-inhibiting bacteria. An advantage of not having to dose yourself is that you can easily calculate and only take with you the amount of tablets you need.
