The Bay Mixx SSD rod series, includes practical rods that can be used at most times of the year and at all hours of the day. The Spinning Bay Mixx SSD rods are intended for in-shore fishing, in rocky beaches, or from small boats over shallows, with sinking minnows, silicone lures with jig heads, Cheburashka rigs, etc. The Tailwalk Bay Mixx is an easy to handle technical fishing rod, that the modern angler wants to have at his disposal.

The Tailwalk Bay Mixx SSD is an ideal choice for use during holidays, when a small size rod is what we need to take with us. The short lengths of the series will become a loyal companion in a number of fisheries, aiming to a wide range of catches. Bay Mixx SSDs do not fall short compared to long rods, in terms of casting distance, as Tailwalk has paid considerable attention in this area. On the contrary, the short size of the Bay Mixx rods will ensure easy handling and management of even much larger catches than you think the rods can handle, such as large Seabass, large-sized fighting pike but also large White Seabreams, Trevally, Mackerel and other active species lurking near the bottom.

With the ability to use braids up to PE # 1.2 the S69ML hides a beastly force in its blank, which one could find in Heavy Spinning rods. At the same time it can perfectly manage thin braids, starting at PE# 0.4 and with the minimum Casting Weight of 5 g, it can work artificial baits of many light categories.

Its blank has Medium Fast action and its composition has such a Carbon – Fiberglass ratio that a smooth and parabolic bending curve is achieved. Tailwalk has based the development of these rods on the philosophy of achieving precision casts and give natural motion to the lure when the angler performs from simple retrieval, to Twitching and fast Jerking. At the same time it will impress you with how well it can handles floating lures.

The Fuji K single legged guides, with SiC ceramic material, will manage any kind of line, including PE Braid, fluorocarbon, or monofilament. The reel seat could not be other than Fuji TVS offering comfort.

The S69ML model of the series is intended for every use, as it has a technically sensitive tip, that will work all kinds of lures within the Casting Weight, without placing a burden on the blank, while maintaining the necessary sensitivity for technical, finesse fishing. The strength of the blank will be there when faced with a tough opponent, while the practical length of 2.10 m will enable the angler to comfortably handle the rod.

The Tailwalk Bay Mixx’s micro-command capacity, has gone to a higher level in the S69ML model, as one can see by its incredibly short butt of just 19mm, reminiscent of an LRF rod.
