The Alivio Surf is Shimanos most affordable telescopic Surf Casting rod and is a great choice, if you are new to the world of Surf Casting, an occasional angler, or on a very tight budget. This deceptively powerful range will safely work with leads up to 200g and give you the confidence to really power into a cast, especially when using a simple overhead casting action. For excellent bite detection, especially when fishing at night, the solid tip has a white section for increased visibility, when using a head torch.
