The Maxel Vortex Rogue Light Plugging rod series, has been designed for Offshore Casting enthusiasts, targeting Pelagic species from the boat.
The Vortex Rogue LP 77/18 is the model of shorter length , lightweight composition and a streamlined casting design. This rod is best combined with a Saltwater Spinning reel, to offer a dynamic, fishing experience from the boat. It features a blank of fast action, a sensitive tip and it can excel in diverse fishing scenarios, such as fishing on the water surface, or in the lower levels of the water column. With this rod the fisherman can cast Silicone lures, Sinking Pencils and Metallic jigs in the range of 40 to 60 gr.
A key element in their construction is the Toray Hybrid Tubular Carbon blanks, which strike the perfect balance between strength and flexibility. The blank is also further strengthened with external Carbon tape wrapping, a technique that enhances the rods elasticity and strength.
Maxel has equipped the Vortex Rogue 77/18 with Fuji guides & reel seat, ergonomically designed hard EVA handle grips, to deliver both comfort and accuracy in every jerk.
