Although the Crostage series was launched 10 years ago, targeting mid-level Eging enthusiasts, the successive improvements it has undergone has transformed it into a truly authentic, Japanese fishing experience, as the raw materials, specifications and construction technologies have been updated to meet the constantly evolving fishing conditions. Egis are improving, new fishing tools and styles are appearing, therefore rods must also follow the new trends.

This particular Crostage Major Craft Crostage Eging Mobile Pack rod is the third generation rod, from leading Japanese company Major Craft and has been designed to deliver a more intense, fishing sensation. Major Craft redesigned the materials used to make the rod, to meet the changing conditions in Eging. The new blank offers more comfort, with a better and faster response to the anglers commands and provides better support during the fight, with the catch. The Crostage Eging handle is more comfortable, slimmer and ergonomically designed. In other words the Crostage Eging Travel rod is synonymous with great value and excellent performance.

In the Major Craft Crostage Light Eging, the latest «Cross Force» manufacturing technique has been applied, for even more direct contact with and control of the blank. The handle has been redesigned to provide an extremely comfortable grip. The CRX Crostage Eging Mobile Pack targets squids and cuttle fish in shallow areas, with a depth of approximately 7 m. It is best mounted with PE #0.4 up to PE #1.2.

The size of the Major Craft Crostage Light Eging Mobile Pack rod in full length reaches 2.59 m. Since it consists of 4 sections, its carrying length becomes 68 cm, so it can fit in a backpack, or in the trunk your car.

The CRX Crostage Eging Travel Model is fitted by Major Craft with Fuji K guides, with a stainless frame and Alconite ceramic material. Its blank is made of a combination of high and medium density Carbon fibers. The reel seat is Fuji’s VSS, combining it with a high density and low weight EVA material.

The rod comes with a semi hard, carrying case that protects it during transport. It closes with a double zipper.
