Major Crafts Big Eye Omorig Sinker is a versatile lead designed for squid fishing and offers multiple benefits.

The Omorig is a specially designed rig, that in many ways resembles the Ika Metal squid fishing technique. Vertical squid fishing from the boat, can be done in many ways in the Mediterranean, but the differentiating factor is always the use either of a sinker, or of Lead squid jigs instead.

The Major Craft, Big-Eye Omorig sinker allows the angler to create a heavy Tataki rig, using either Ultra type, or Egi style squid jigs. But the key factor here is the presence of a ring at the bottom of the sinker, which allows for a Slow Sinking Squid jig to be rigged there. This means that the Big-Eye sinker does not have to be the lowest point of the Tataki rig, but can be placed higher, allowing for slow sinking squid lures to be tied on fluorocarbon leader, drift and attract squids with their natural motion.

Other features include the aerodynamic shape, which means that the sinker will reach the strike zone quickly, cutting through currents and the glowing color, which makes it visible in the dark.
