Description
The HTO Tempest Bay Area is an all-round, shore lure fishing rod, that is happy fishing into a surf, as it is fishing deeper rock marks and estuaries. Its design allows for fishing with weightless soft plastics and hard baits. The Tempest Bay Area is a mainstream spinning rod, which offers to the angler the perfect long-distance and high accuracy casting properties. The tubular tip, helps the angler master the action of the lure, while the blank has plenty of reserved power to land big fish, in adverse weather conditions.
HTO has named each Tempest rod based on the type of fishing its suited for. Instead of using aimless length and weight s, HTO is giving you an idea of what each rod has been designed to do.
All rods are made from a high-volume 40-Ton Japanese carbon material, which helps keep the blanks light, but also offer ultra-strong and crisp action. The 40T Carbon, aids the rods recovery, making these the most accurate, distance casting tools HTO has ever produced, at this price level. HTO has further strengthened the blanks by using the X-Tec Mesh technology, adding a unique outer wrapping that protects the integrity of the blank, further enhances its performance and durability.
A wise man once said, to add speed, add lightness; to that end, HTO has looked at each rod and removed several elements to reduce their weight, as many rods have unnecessary whippings around the reel seats and butt caps. These are merely cosmetic, but add weight. HTO also believes that this minimalistic style looks cool, too.
All rods are built using Fuji Guides and Fuji Reel Seats.
