The Gundog+Plus rod series is a new project for the Gundog company, incorporating the experience, the know-how and each markets needs. The Gundog+Plus series was created for the Greek market, to meet the needs of the most «experienced» fishermen, looking for better value for money in a pure Rockfishing rod.
The Gundog+Plus Rockfish rod, features a blank made of multiple layers, of high density carbon fibers – 97% Toray Carbon material – which Crony further processes with 100T pressure, during the production process. This way, a low weight and high strength blank is created. The EVA handle is shorter compared to rods in the classic Gundog series, making the Rockfish rod even lighter. It is highly durable, comfortable to hold and does not slip easily from your palm.
Each Gundog+Plus rod is equipped with Fuji O Concept guides, with a stainless frame. The reel seat is Fuji VSS. The various aesthetic and design details on the rods blank, make it look like a much more expensive rod, comparable to well known, Japanese rods.
The GUPS-702 Rockfish model, at a length of 2.13 m, Casting Weight ranging between 1 – 11 g, and the weight being only 86 gr, has a Regular Fast action and represents one of the best Light Rock Fishing options in the specific budget level. It addresses the needs of Finesse presentation anglers, who use up to 9 gr jigs and rigged with jighead silicone lures weighing up to 7 gr.
