Anglers who fish with silicone made Squids and Cuttlefish, need an extra rig with Assist Hooks, hidden amongst the tentacles, to secure a strike.
With the Assist Hooks Crazy Squid rig, made by Jatsui, you have an excellent ready-made rig. With a carefully selected length of the Assist Line , and built for silicone squids like the Xipi JLC, Savage Gear PVC Swim Squid and theJLC Sepia Combo Silicone Cuttlefish, the Crazy Squid rig features a stainless Solid Ring and strong Assist Line. At each end of the Assist Line there is a fixed Assist Hook, of size 2/0. The knot on the hooks has been reinforced and protected by cyanoacrylate glue.
The Assist Hooks are the 8062 Heavy Jigging by BKK, which guarantee deep penetration and a secure hold of the fish.
All we have to do is pass the Solid Ring through the body of the bait and secure it with a Split Ring to the point where the main hook is rigged, or to an eyelet on the jighead.
Each package contains one Crazy Squid rig.
