Up to now, a handful of companies have been producing Tear Drop rings, but in the form of Solid rings. The Tear Drop or Pear shaped rings, are believed to improve the performance of lures, as their shape prevents the knots from slipping. Owner is the first company to develop a Tear Drop ring in the form of a Split Ring.

The special Tear Drop shape, prevents the line from breaking, due to excessive friction. This particular shape, keeps the ring in place and prevents it from spinning round the lures ring. Being a Split Ring, you can attach it directly to the lure, without the need to also use a solid ring.

The Owner Pro Parts tear Drop Split rings are stainless steel, in black with chrome finish.
