It is resistant to corrosion and distortion, caused by water forces. The Propeller Protector is electrostatically painted in high visibility RAL2008 orange paint.
It does not cause shuddering, or malfunctions in the steering of the vessel.
According to the Greek legislation, all boats available for hire without a speedboat license must carry a propeller guard.
